I've ensured maximum distance by temporary emigration to San Francisco, where today I chanced on California's first gay wedding, a historic occasion attended by thousands. Even the cops were smiling (sort of).
Looking forward to more entertainment SF-style, Lucia di Lammermoor opens tomorrow at the SF Opera with Natalie Dessay starring.
With a strong £, and Barneys, Saks, Nordies and Needless all on sale, life could hardly be schweeder.
I may even get the time to update the blog with the many concerts I attended in London last week, who knows.
