Reported in the New York Times:
As part of its quest to bring opera to the masses, the 8 September performance of Don Giovanni will be available to watch free online on the Royal Opera House's website from 5 October.
It will feature DVD extra-type content, like subtitles, listening notes and a podcast with the director Francesca Zambello.
The NYT also says "the company will make it possible to view other complete operas and ballets online" Free? - let's wait and see.
