The programme notes for Ensemble f2's all-Haydn inaugural concert at Wigmore Hall on Friday night supplement the usual player bios with something I haven't seen before - the date and maker of the instruments played (bows too) and the pitch and tuning of the harpsichord.
If you've done the research and gone to the trouble of selecting appropriate instruments for period performance, why not share it with the audience? A small but incredibly useful addition to the programme (fantastic concert, too).
