Glyndebourne have announced that Pippa Middleton lookalike Kate Royal has withdrawn from the role of The Governess in The Turn of the Screw as she's expecting a baby (her second).
Chelsy Davy lookalike Miah Persson replaces her.
Prince Harry hasn't issued a comment.
Not sure Miah Persson will thank you for that comparison IM, Chelsy Davy is hardly the most attractive of the royal hangers-on.

Oi, Intermezzo, stop messing with my brain! I really would like to be able to watch Miah Persson without that unfortunate comparison flitting through my mind. Her Fiordiligi (Miah's not Chelsy's) will never seem the same ...

I saw La Royal at the Met last week in their Orfeo ed Euridice, with David Daniels as her husband. She seemed in very cloudy voice, and much-attenuated in volume in alt.
I suppose it's case of a bun in the Ovenden
PS. La Persson is ALSO the other half of an Ovenden (Jeremy, in her case: Julian, in La Royal's) though oddly enough unrelated. Obviously someone at Glyndebourne said "Oh just get hold of the other Ovenden woman!"..

I now await an updated production of Anna Bolena, with the two lookalikes battling it out over their own Prince Harry. Celeb heaven!

Two tickets for the price of one (but plus a booking fee) for the concert performance of The Bartered Bride at the Barbican on 20 May with Belohlavek and an all Czech cast - an offer from the Evening Standard. Phone 020 7638 8891 or book online with the code 260310.
I've had my tickets since March 2010 - for me, hearing Czechs singing in czech is something very special.
