Lord Sugar has set the contestants in BBC One's Young Apprentice a challenge of operatic dimensions.
Their next task is to race round London sourcing props for Calixto Bieito's upcoming ENO Carmen as cheaply as possible. The team that returns to the Coliseum with
the most items for the least dosh wins.
Watch it this Thursday 15 November at 8pm.

Difficult one, that. On the whole, I think the scales are tipped in favour of Lord Sugar for Mephisto. I wonder if he will continue his diabolic services by lending a hand to other cash-strapped opera houses (shudders)!
