Friends' booking opens for the final part of the 2012-13 Covent Garden season tomorrow. And - guess what - they're announcing the 2013-14 season at the same time. So good luck to anyone doing battle with the ROH website tomorrow.
Tickets are in very short supply for the pick of the bunch, Gerald Barry's brilliant The Importance of Being Earnest, so if you want to see this it should be first on your list. For acoustic reasons, I strongly recommend the rear over the sides of the Linbury Studio - the only choices left.
Britten's The Canticles (with Iestyn Davies and Ian Bostridge) is already sold out, as is the Renee Fleming interview, so don't waste your time.
The Gwyneth Jones masterclass is nearly full, so this is another one to snap up quickly.
A few more tickets will be released for these when public booking opens on 9 April.
There are plenty of seats left for the main house operas Simon Boccanegra, Capriccio in concert and even La Rondine - Gheorghiu notwithstanding.
And with a particularly fine crop of Jette Parker Young Artists this year, their summer matinee concert (top price £38) is highly recommended. The programme this time is all staged extracts - a wallet-friendly way to introduce the family to opera, perhaps?
