Yesterday Jonas Kaufmann's official schedule included the Bavarian State Opera's tour of Japan.
Today it doesn't. Anyone surprised?
******* UPDATE ******** The Bavarian State Opera dates have now (a couple of hours after the original post) mysteriously reappeared on his official schedule. What's going on is anybody's guess.
Looks like all the performances with Angela have rubbed off...

In fairness, as of 20:32 on 21st august, while listening to a rather poor verdi requiem on bbc 4 (aural equivalent of being photographed with today's newspaper), his website (posted on your blog by a punter saying it wasn't listed http://www.jonaskaufmann.com/en/5/schedule.html) had it listed:
"25.09.2011, 29.09.2011, 02.10.2011 Wagner, Lohengrin
Bayerische Staatsoper München, Japan Tour"
the mystering of the disappearing/reappearing tourdates?
what is his "official" schedule?

This is wrong! The official website still contains the dates with the Bavarian state opera:

Intermezzo replies - for Jonas Kaufmann's many Japanese fans who read this blog - yes, it is.
