Don't despair if you couldn't access the 3sat broadcast last night. It's now in their video archive, where you can watch ad infinitum.
daddy I want a harpsichord
wish i had known this - watching it the other day as it was presented straight through without a break was something of a chore. had thought it would have been the only chance to catch it on the internet.
did watch the (i think live) broadcast of falstaff from the festival on saturday and was absolutely enchanted. rather interesting to see the currently celebrated boys in their comic works on consecutive days. there is absolutely no denyinng my sensibilities favor verdi and YES, brevity is indeed the soul of wit!

Yes, select Mpg4/h264 rather than flash in the drop-down format box below the video.

I think you need to have (Apple) QuickTime installed as a plug-in. Or you could open this link: 130802_meistersinger_musik.mov directly in QuickTime player. It's worth it, I liked the production very much!

Thanks, Nick! Now it works :-) Strange, because before I could watch Sommernachtstraum, but not Meistersinger nor Falstaff...Now everything works!

Any tips - Google translate seems to suggest that the message on the page now says it's no longer available...
