Live from Munich

The Bavarian State Opera have released their 2013-14 livestream calendar - six operas and two ballets, including all of their hottest new productions. All will be shown FREE on Staatsoper.TV.

Low, High or HD versions can be chosen, and both German and English subtitles will be available.

• 6 October 2013: Wozzeck. Conductor: Lothar Koenigs, director: Andreas Kriegenburg; with Simon Keenlyside, Angela Denoke. 
• 1 December: Die Frau ohne Schatten. New production. Conductor: Kirill Petrenko, director: Krzysztof Warlikowski; with Johan Botha, Adrianne Pieczonka, Deborah Polaski, Wolfgang Koch, Elena Pankratova.
• 28 December: La forza del destino. New production. Conductor: Asher Fisch, director: Martin Kušej; with Anja Harteros, Jonas Kaufmann, Ludovic Tézier.
• 15 February 2014: La clemenza di Tito. New production. Conductor: Kirill Petrenko, director: Jan Bosse; with Kristīne Opolais, Toby Spence, Tara Erraught.
• 15 March: La Bayadère. Choreography: Marius Petipa/Patrice Bart; with Lucia Lacarra and Marlon Dino.
• 31 May: Die Soldaten. New production. Conductor: Kirill Petrenko, director: Andreas Kriegenburg; with Barbara Hannigan, Michael Nagy, Endrik Wottrich.
• 21 June: Les Ballets Russes - Les Biches/L'Après-midi d'un faune/Shéhérazade Choreography: Bronislawa Nijinska/Vaslav Nijinsky/Mikhail Fokine.
• 28 June: Guillaume Tell. New production. Conductor: Dan Ettinger, director: Antú Romero Nunes; with Michael Volle, Bryan Hymel, Günther Groissböck.
• 27 July: L'Orfeo. New production. Conductor: Ivor Bolton, director: David Bösch; with Christian Gerhaher, Anna Bonitatibus.

tried watching the wozzeck but encountered prohibiting transmission difficulties. able to connect without a problem but after a few minutes video would become incredibly "jerky." i never have problems with arte or medici. actually had some difficulties with the glyndbourne broadcasts this summer - so who knows?/it could be just me.
